Get to Know Us Better

I am flattered that you are interested in learning more about me and my team. As you might have already read, I wear a lot of hats throughout the day, and no matter what hat it is, my goal is simple: whatever I am working on, it has my top priority and the best interests of those affected at heart. I care big and deeply. So when you enlist our design help, I promise that we will bring you a beautiful space that you can feel very proud of. Whether you are wanting to create an impact so you can sell your home quickly, renovating your space for your own pleasure, or needing an update on a rental investment property so that you can bring in more guests, DG Interiors can make this a reality for you.

Discovering my passion: I have always had an interest and eye for design. At a very young age, I constantly rearranged my bedroom furniture in order to come up with new, exciting ways for my room to look different while keeping the same furniture. And, much to my mom’s entertainment, I would "borrow" accessories from around the house and move them into my bedroom, since I knew one piece could create an entirely different impact in my space. This continued throughout my life, and having now lived in several different homes, I have had the opportunity to let my creativity grow by having many rooms to decorate and style. Through the years, family members and friends were inspired by the spaces I would create and would often ask for my help and input.

How it began:  I live in Winter Garden, Florida, and I am married and have a 7-year-old son and 10-year-old dog. Before the birth of my son, I had a successful career working for construction firms, which was a great fit, but not a perfect match based on my passion for design. Then, once my son was born, I had the honor of becoming a full-time mom. When he started going to school, I longed to work again, but I knew that I did not want “just a job.” I instead wanted something that was fulfilling and would make me truly happy. So in 2017, I decided to jump feet first into starting Design Gal, which is now DG Interiors, since this work is ultimate passion, and it never feels like a job. I love to shop and decorate and now I am doing both for others, which feels like I have won the lottery. I am truly blessed and so appreciative of all of the support that I have been given.

My dream team: A key contributor to DG Interior's strength and success is our talented team: a team that I feel so fortunate to work with and who shares my vision of the client experience and memorable design. Over the years, I have found the winning combination of players that is a complete collaboration of trust and execution of quality work and craftsmanship. Our skills range from interior decorating to architectural woodwork, painting of every level of expertise, home theatre design, audio visual strategy and installation, and more. Together, we work on your overall vision as a “one stop shop.” This way, you can rest easy that all details will be taken care of and the process will be seamless with flawless execution.

Excited to see our work?

My First Vacation Home Transformation

Getting to where we are today has been an exciting and challenging journey, and there has certainly been a lot of growth. Part of that evolution has included an expanded team of experts on my team, more extensive renovation and design projects, and changing my company name to DG Interiors. This name change was part of our natural shift into bigger and better. Yet, through it all, some key things have remained the same: the quality, uniqueness, and attention to detail of our designs and renovations.

Take a trip down memory lane and watch this video of my very first vacation rental home transformation. And don't stop there, here's another video that highlights another one of my favorite projects. Enjoy!
